One afternoon, Tom was walking home from school. It was a warm day, and the sun was shining. On his way, Tom saw something strange near a tree. It was a small, wooden box. The box was old, and it had a lock, but the lock was broken.
Tom looked around. There was no one else in the street. He was curious. “What is inside the box?” he thought. Slowly, he opened the lid. Inside, there was a small key and a piece of paper. The paper had a message: “Find the secret door.”
Tom was confused. “What secret door?” he asked himself. He took the key and the paper. Then, he started looking for the secret door.
He searched around the trees, but there was nothing. He walked down the street, looking at every house and every wall. Then, near an old building, Tom saw something. It was a small door hidden behind some bushes. The door was old and wooden, just like the box.
Tom’s heart started to beat fast. He took the key from his pocket and put it in the lock of the door. The key fit! Tom turned the key, and the door opened slowly. Behind the door, there was a small room. The room was empty, but on the floor, there was another box.
This box was also wooden, but it was bigger than the first one. Tom opened it, and inside, he found something amazing: a map! The map showed a place in the forest, not far from his home. Tom smiled. “The adventure is just beginning,” he thought.
